A few times throughout the year, Sephora hosts savings events for all of the members who have joined their rewards plan. The Sephora Spring Savings event in particular, is normally held around Easter and gives members of their “free” rewards plan a discount as a percentage, to be used during a specific time frame. For 2020, the sale is slated to run from April 17th – May 1st, but not everyone has access to the sale at the same time.
Sale Dates and Discounts Offered
- ROUGE – Rouge is the highest Tier of the Sephora rewards plan. First and early access is granted to these members who can shop multiple times throughout the sale from April 17th, 2020 – May 1st, 2020 with a discount of 20% on all items purchased.
- VIB – VIB is the mid- level Tier of the Sephora rewards plan. Members from this group can begin shopping between April 21st, 2020 – April 29th, 2020, with a discount of 15% on all items purchased.
- INSIDER – The Insider tier is the lowest tier of the rewards plan. Members of this group will have access to the sale from April 23rd, 2020 – April 27th, 2020, with a 10% discount on all items purchased.
Skincare, Makeup and Hair Care Favourites
Here are a few of my favourite skincare, makeup and hair care beauty items all in my current beauty routine:
Current Skincare Rotation:
- GENIUS Liquid Collagen, Algenist – This serum is absolutely amazing! I’ve found that the texture of my skin has improved with use – where its not only smooth but also plump. I find that it also minimizes my pores. These benefits are a complete game changer when I apply my makeup, talk about flawless! While a bit on the pricier side, it’s worth it especially if you can grab it during the sale. Shop the Algenist Liquid Collagen here.
- Global Protection Day Cream, REN – This moisturizer is my jack of all trades beauty favourite. While its labelled as a day time moisturizer, I use it both day and night time. I have combination skin which is on the drier side during the winter months, and this keeps me thoroughly moisturized without having to reapply it throughout the day and night. Shop the REN Moisturizer here. During the day I however combine it with the Lancome 50+ SPF – super fluid facial sunscreen (no longer available). However this Lancome Moisturizer would be a great daytime moisturizer with SPF 30.

- Lip Colour #1 – Fenty Beauty, Stunna Lip Paint – a beautiful red that compliments any skin tone.
- Lip Colour #2 – NARS, Lipstick in deep fuschia – my go to summer colour for both day and night
- Lip Colour #3 – NARS Audacious Lipstick in Oxblood Burgundy
Hair Care Favourites in Current Rotation:
- Deep Conditioner – Amika, The Kure Intense Repair Mask – My 4c Natural Hair loves this stuff!
